Former rally driver who switched to Rallycross with instant success. Winner of 1991 British Grand Prix, which led to support from Ford and Q8 Oils in 1992, when he won the French GP and finished runner-up in European Championship.

In 1993 Ford supplied him with an Escort-Cosworth and he went on to finish fourth in the European Championship with many podium places. Then retired to develop his business.

Returned to Rallycross in 2001 with Ford RS200 - won at Anglesey, Pembrey and Blyton and finished runner-up in British Championship to Dermot Carnegie.

MSA British Rallycross Champion in 2002 and runner up in 2003.
