The HSCC Derek Bell Trophy series supported by Motor Sport is open to single seater racing cars built and raced between 1/01/1967 and 31/12/1979.

It caters for F1, F2, F3, F5000, Formula Atlantic, FF2000, Super Vee and post 1971 Formula Ford. With all classes split into pre and post 1972. All cars must have current HSCC or FIA VIFs

Eligible Cars:

The HSCC DBT Series is open to single seater racing cars built and raced between 1/1/67 and 31/12/79. It caters for F1, F2, F3, F5000, Formula Atlantic, FF2000 and Formula Super Vee cars and post 1971 1600cc Formula Fords. Cars must be in original specification with only the addition of current safety requirements.

All cars must have current FIA papers or HSCC Vehicle Identification Forms.

Class A1 - Formula 1cars which as a model competed pre 1972
Class A2 - Formula 1 cars which as a model competed between 31/01/1972 - 13/12/1979
Class B1 - Formula 5000 cars which as a model competed pre1972
Class B2 - Formula 5000cars which as a model competed between 01/01/1972 - 31/12/1979
Class C1 - Formula 2 cars which as a model competed pre 1972 1600cc
Class C2 -2000cc Formula 2 cars which as a model competed between 01/01/1972 - 31/12/1979
Class D1 - Formula Atlantic cars which as a model competed pre 1972
Class D2 - Formula Atlantic cars which as a model competed between 01/01/01972 - 31/12/1979
Class D3 - 01/01/1971 - 31/12/1973 1600cc Formula 3 cars
Class D4 - 01/01/1974 - 31/12/1979 2000cc Formula 3 cars
Class E - Invitation class - pre 1980 Formula Ford 2000.
Class F - by invitation only any other pre 1980 single seater racing car.

Subdivided classes in Classes A, B, C & D a class needs five entries to run as a separate class otherwise classes will be amalgamated as Class A, Class B, Class C & Class D as appropriate.
